We currently offer two “versions” of our loops. The Ableton Live format is 32bit/48,000khz .wav files, and the Garageband/Logic format is 24bit/41,000khz .aiff files. If your software supports either format you can use the loops with your software. Depending on your software the tempo “auto match” or tempo changing process may be different so you may need to manually make a few changes to have the tempo of the loops automatically follow the tempo of your song. If you’re still unsure which format...

Our Elements collections don’t have a click track to them. They are all Stereo loops. You can however use them in your software of choice to adjust their tempo to what you want and then add your own click track with your band. We don’t provide a click track because we want to encourage people to use Stereo Loops ( Loop L/R and then click) Instead of just mono Loops (click L, Loop R) etc.. By providing you with Stereo loops you can choose to use them in either mono or stereo, depending on your situation.

When using Elements in Live they may play at Double or Half their normal Tempo. At times this may a desired effect but typically you’ll want each loop to play in standard time.
If your loop is playing too fast (Double Time):
Enter “Clip View” by Double Clicking your loop. The Clip View Window should pop up at the bottom of your Live Session.
If the Seg. BPM is set lower then the Sample’s Normal Tempo (The Tempo in the loop’s name) then the loop will play in Double-Time.
Use the “Double Original...

You’ll find each Collection works best is specific styles of music but by mixing and matching you can come up with some unique and useful sounds. You can use multiple Elements loops for each song to stack and create your own sound or use just one as it is. The best idea is to try any and everything, get crazy and experiment!

Each Element has the original tempo beside it so that you know what tempo this loop was originally created at. If you are playing a song at 120 bpm the best place to start may be with the loops that are around 120 bpm. But you can use any loop no matter what the tempo is notated as. You’ll find that for your specific song some of the slower Elements sped up may sound better then others. The best idea is to try any loop with any song and see what happens, have fun!

There are essentially two ways to use Elements.
1) Use them as they are..
You can keep put them with a click track and have a loop with a click. This allows you to quickly have a loop for any song, at any tempo.
2) You can use them as a starting point and tweak and edit them to create your own original sound.
-You can layer Elements together to create bigger sounds.
-You can use different effects to create original sounds.
-Slice them up and rearrange each “piece” of the loop to get a new sound
-Reverse the Audio to...
