To make the most of the Patches within Textures we suggest saving each patch directly into Live’s Library.
1) Load up the desired Live patch into your Live set. Need help doing this? Check out this support article.
2) Open up Live’s Device browser located within Live’s browser.
3) Click the arrow to the left of the Instruments Folder.
4) Right click on “Instrument Rack” and select “Create New Folder”. Name the folder whatever you’d like.
5) Click on the Device Title bar and drag into your Custom Presets folder.
6) You can re-name the patch anything you’d like. You may want to name it in a way that you’ll instantly know the sound, i.e. by song, type of sound, or a unique way that helps you remember what it is.
You may want to make tweaks to each preset and save different versions of each patch. You can drag that patch into the same folder and re-name it what you want as well!
