Installing Textures

Posted by Will in Textures

Our Textures collection is organized into 4 different Live Sets. The best way to access them is by navigating to each Live set using Live’s built in Browser.

1) To Access the Browser click the Browser Show/Hide button to the left of Live’s Interface.

2) You can use any of the 3 file folders to navigate to the location you saved the LIW_TEXTURES file.

3) If you don’t immediately see the location of your file, use the Bookmarks browser to get there.

4) Click the arrow to the left of each Live Project to see the included Live set.

5) You can double click the Live set to open the entire Live set and Preview all those patches at once.

6) Clicking the arrow to the left of the Live set (.als) allows you to see each MIDI track loaded into that set. Those MIDI files contain each Textures Preset. To load a preset into your Live set, Double Click that MIDI track.

7) You can also click and drag each MIDI track intro your Live set. Click and hold the desired MIDI track and drag into your Live set over the area that says, “Drop Files and Devices Here”
