1) Navigate using Live’s Browser to where you have saved the Live file, FOUNDATIONS.als
2)Click the arrow to the left of FOUNDATIONS.als file
3)Click the arrow to the left of 1-FOUNDATIONS track
4) Select the desired time signature clip and drag into session view
5) As you drag the clip into Live it will automatically add Foundations
6) Make sure the Global Time Signature matches the midi clips time signature (i.e. If you want a 4/4 click make sure you drag in a 4/4 clip and set Live’s Global Time Signature to 4/4
7)You can rename the MIDI clip to match whatever song you are doing.. ie… instead of “4/4″ rename “How great is our God”. This allows you to easily see what song you are currently on.

Using Foundations in Session View
