We use loops and clicks without inears and have no problems. We run the loop & click in stereo from an iPad, split into two DI boxes. The click runs into the drum monitor only, and the loop track runs into all monitors and mains. Works well for us.

I love how you've stated the need more creativity and exploration of music for worship! I recently began a new position leading music for worship and ran into some folks who felt worship was limited to the C. Tomlin songbook.
Awesome challenge to worship leaders to try to push out of their comfort zone!

Daniel,
Without mine in front of me I'm not sure. I know you can move Faster then the bank down switch but can't remember how right now. That's a big reason why I don't use my APC very often unless it's a DJ style set.

Thanks for the reply!,
Now I'm stumped on another issue. I got an APC40 and can't figure out how to jump to various songs in my master set. The only way I see on how to get the 5 selected scenes on the APC40 to change to a different song is using the bank select buttons, but with a master set of 100 songs or so, this would not be helpful. Is there a way to jump to various songs with in a master set list using the APC40?

Daniel,
Great Question! There's multiple ways of setting this up:

1) Split your song into sections in Session View and trigger each section manually.

2) Split your song into sections in Session View and use Follow Actions to trigger each section automatically. When you want to repeat a section you can manually trigger it and jump around the arrangement.

3) Create a Setlist in Arrangememt View and add locators to the song. You can jump around within the song and even program all your transitions to occur automatically. Pretty hands-off setup with the flexibility to do more if you want.

What should the setup be when triggering different sections of a song? I see how you can have intro, verse, chorus, ect broken out in the session view but is this the only way? I just don't want to go from 5 simple master tracks for 5 songs to having 5 tracks for each song if i don't have to.The main thing that i'm confused about (which may be false) with breaking up a song like that is that you have to fire each section of the song. Or is there a way to have the song play all the way through like normal and also be able to jump back to a chorus if needed or whatever?
