Why does each Element loop have a tempo beside it?

Each Element has the original tempo beside it so that you know what tempo this loop was originally created at.  If you are playing a song at 120 bpm the best place to start may be with the loops that are around 120 bpm.  But you can use any loop no matter what the tempo is notated as.  You’ll find that for your specific song some of the slower Elements sped up may sound better then others.  The best idea is to try any loop with any song and see what happens, have fun!

How do I use Elements?

There are essentially two ways to use Elements.   1) Use them as they are.. You can keep put them with a click track and have a loop with a click.  This allows you to quickly have a loop for any song, at any tempo.   2) You can use them as a starting point and tweak and edit them to create your own original sound. -You can layer Elements together to create bigger sounds. -You can use different effects to create original sounds. -Slice them up and rearrange each “piece” of...

What Elements format should I buy?

If you use Live, Logic or Garageband there are versions specific  for your software that have been tested and include documentation that has step by step instructions on how to use and work with Elements within the program.  If you don’t see your software on the list feel free to shoot us an email and we will see if we can make a suggestion.

Do Elements work with Cubase?

Our Elements format created for Ableton Live works with Cubase. They are 32 bit/48,000 khz  .wav files. We’ve had a few customers purchase Elements to use with Cubase and have had success with them. Please be aware that we can’t current offer support for Cubase though. Before you buy any Elements Collections we suggest downloading the Download Pack and trying them out in your DAW of choice to see if they will work for you!

Using Elements in Live

    Unzip the original zipped file and move the collection somewhere that you can easily access. We suggest creating a folder such as “Samples” and dragging each Elements Collection there. Open Live and expand the file browser by clicking the triangle in the left corner. Click on one of the three buttons with a file folder and number. Open Logic and navigate to the Loop Browser by clicking the Media icon and go to the “Loops” tab.
