Posted by Will in Elements

If you purchased an Elements collection before August, 23, 2010 and you intend to use them with Ableton Live Intro, it is nessesary to update the .asd files included with the loops. The process is incredibly easy to do and the needed files are attached to this post! 1) Download the Updated_asd_files.zip File attached to this post. Unzip the file using a unzipping utility. If you have trouble unzipping the file make sure your archive utility is up to date. (Mac users we suggest using the Stuffit...

I don’t own Ableton Live, Logic or Garageband. Can I still use Elements?

Posted by Will in Elements

We currently offer two “versions” of our loops.  The Ableton Live format is 32bit/48,000khz .wav files, and the Garageband/Logic  format is 24bit/41,000khz .aiff files.  If your software supports either format you can use the loops with your software.  Depending on your software the tempo “auto match” or tempo changing process may be different so you may need to manually make a few changes to have the tempo of the loops automatically follow the tempo of your...

Do your Loops have a Click Track with them?

Posted by Will in Elements

Our Elements collections don’t have a click track to them.  They are all Stereo loops.  You can however use them in your software of choice to adjust their tempo to what you want and then add your own click track with your band.  We don’t provide a click track because we want to encourage people to use Stereo Loops ( Loop L/R and then click) Instead of just mono Loops (click L, Loop R) etc..  By providing you with Stereo loops you can choose to use them in either mono or stereo,...

Why are the Loops playing in Half/Double-time?

Posted by Will in Elements

When using Elements in Live they may play at Double or Half their normal Tempo.  At times this may a desired effect but typically you’ll want each loop to play in standard time.   If your loop is playing too fast (Double Time): Enter “Clip View” by Double Clicking your loop.  The Clip View Window should pop up at the bottom of your Live Session. If the Seg. BPM is set lower then the Sample’s Normal Tempo (The Tempo in the loop’s name) then the loop will...

Are Elements made for specific songs?

Posted by Will in Elements

No.  Each loop is specifically created so that it can be used in any worship songs at any tempo.  You can add them into any song and then will automatically adjust to the tempo. You’ll find each Collection works best is specific styles of music but by mixing and matching you can come up with some unique and useful  sounds.  You can use multiple Elements loops for each song to stack  and create your own sound or use just one as it is.  The best idea is to try any and everything, get...

How do I receive an Elements Collection?

Posted by Will in Elements

Each Collection is Download-only.  This is so we can keep the price low and it allows for instant access to them.  After you purchase a collection you will receive a link that is active for a day to Download you collection.  It is important that you download the Elements within that day period as we can’t re-activate the link.  Also it is important to back-up your purchase on your computer as we can’t provide you with a new download if you lose or delete the original files.
