I led this week with just my acoustic since we had some people out of town and I had a lot of fun with it. I tuned down a full step to get a nice low end sound (and it helps that I have an awesome guitar) then used a cut capo to give me more room for lead type stuff. I ran into a Boss delay pedal and ran out stereo to give the room a nice spread (I ran through two different types of DI, one was Fishman Aura Spectrum). With delay, stereo sound, good compression, and low tuning, it was quite successful.

All of that said, I would have loved some good pads to throw in the background. Hopefully I'll be able to participate in some of your classes soon and be able to figure out some good ideas.
